The authentic Sichuan dishes here reflect the “seven flavours of Sichuan” – spicy, aromatic, sweet, bitter, sour, peppery, and salty. Not for the faint-hearted, be prepared to experience a wide spectrum of spiciness as the house serves up explosive flavours from the Sichuan canon.

Our Story

Qi (pronounced ‘chee’) is named after the Chinese character for ‘shining star’, inspired by the fundamental ingredient in Sichuan cuisine, star anise. The Chinese character is also symbolic, formed by the characters of water and mouth - reflecting the mouth-watering flavours of Sichuan food.

Helmed by one of the top Sichuan Chefs in Hong Kong, Chef Wong Chun Fai, he led the restaurant to achieve its One Michelin Star from 2016 to 2019 in the Hong Kong and Macau Michelin Guide. There are currently two branches in Hong Kong at Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui.

Following the success of the two Hong Kong branches, the brand was then introduced to the Singapore market n 2018.  To ensure the quality and tastes of the dishes from Qi - House of Sichuan Singapore are on par with the original outlets, our team of chefs have undergone intensive training with Chef Wong to master the required skills to dish out Michelin Star quality Sichuan dishes of the highest standards.
